Constitution and aims of the association
TARMAC e.V. was founded in June 2021 and is the result of more than two years of intensive experience in organizing the TARMAC Festival. The association forms the official framework to realize common ideas and visions of small art and music collectives from Saxony-Anhalt, Saxony, Berlin, Brandenburg and Thuringia. Our common goal is to create spaces in which people can express themselves and feel comfortable and in which escapism, but at the same time also confrontation with the challenges of the present is possible.
Composition of the group of people
Our group has a solid core of volunteers who take on leading functions for the realization of the festival, which takes place annually at Allstedt airfield and has enjoyed popularity in the scene of smaller music festivals. The permanent core is supported by the members of the individual collectives, who donate their free time to the project and thus make this unconventional way of organizing a festival possible. The utopias and ideas of TARMAC e.V. are constantly undergoing a dynamic process of change within the framework of our common goals. We always try to work together in a challenging, solution-oriented and considerate manner, always striving for consensus despite differences of opinion and thus successfully implementing our impact and action goals together.
Current tasks & prospects
For the time being, the focus remains on organizing the TARMAC Festival. Engaging with and experiencing music, art and culture together has always been an important human need. The high demand for tickets in the past two years confirms our approach to realizing the project. On the one hand, we see the creation of communal, open and non-discriminatory spaces in the context of the festival process and, on the other hand, the promotion of artists in the region as well as local companies whose services we would like to make use of. We also consider it important to offer a place where national and regional artists can network. In the future, the association can also imagine the realization of other projects in the field of art and culture as well as the implementation of a largely barrier-free festival.
rave hard, be nice
racism, sexism, antisemitism and all other forms of discrimination won’t be tolerated and will lead to immediate banishment.
savour the moment - no photos, no video, no phones!
In recent years, we have been fascinated by how people move in subcultural space, organize themselves in collectives, really do something, and in doing so, deliberately advocate their values. It turned out that the individual collectives had already perceived each other but rarely organized joint events, also because the diverse musical orientations did not make the process seem evident at first.
We agreed that the realization of the project would be particularly successful if we can motivate the already active collectives in Halle and the wider vicinity to become part of an idea. In 2018 we started introducing ourselves as Team TARMAC to the different collectives. We took part in plenary sessions, built a network consisting of various sectors of art and music, and helped to realize open-air raves and other events.
At the end of 2018 we had the first talks with the operators of the Allstedt airfield. Good to have landed here: a stretch of forest and concrete. An inspiring airfield ruin. A tarmac that extends to the horizon, close to Halle and Leipzig. Practically reachable by train and bike. In short: The ideal location for us.
In 2019 the cooperation was a done deal. This was followed by the continuous use of an aircraft hangar and a lot of work input to make the area suitable for the festival in 2020.
In summer 2019, we realized our first private rave on the premises. This showed us what it means to make a project of this size come true through voluntary work, self-determination and self-financing. Your coming gave us strength and confirmation to pursue a real goal with our visions.
[Resonánz] - Substantiv, feminin, die
It started with spontaneous mettings of friends. Then it became more and more to a established structure. At the beginning we were planning a single unique event. All of a sudden we had weekly events in the summer of 2018. Ever since we are trying to create a room with free space for any kind of electronic music regularly. At the same time it should not follow any comercial rules.
The "Lila Drache" is the club home of a non-profit Art and Culture Association. We are a colorful group of people who have set themselves the task of expanding the cultural offer in the city Halle, especially in the southern city. We established a platform in the south of Halle where artists can exhibit their works, musicians find open ears and readings and lectures reach a wide audience.
Ciao! Vacanza e.V. - club for music and culture from Leipzig. We are a group of music loving people with common and charitable projects. As often we can, we organize various regional club events, festival floors and day events with cultural content.
HeyCiao!Vacanza (Elipamanoke), AMPED. (tba), THE TANGLE (Nachtiville), VACANZA (Tarmac Festival) and more
The organised-rave-group-in-aktion (ORGIA) founded in 2018 is specialized in Full-Service-Solutions for dancing events. Very fast they became the leading provider. About 12 employees are active in the cities Halle and Leipzig. Just recently the community achieved sales of 253€.
At the TARMAC Festival they will organise a hangar with the dancing floor. Therefore the main elements are Acid, Elektro, Rave and Trance.
Welcome to the BrauseCus concert stage, where music comes to life in all its many facets! The Potsdam underground of DIY club culture and live music has come together to bring musical blossoms to the Tarmac Festival. Just like last year, our Leipzig friends from Proper Pull will be back to enhance the program. We try to make every year a little more colorful and diverse - this year you can expect many live acts and DJs from different genres to enchant you with their wide variety and creativity.
We, the Poly Crew, have been around since 2022 as the first crew to be born from the Tarmac womb.
Our (immersive) space: the Polynoiseon. Here you will find performances, workshops and interactive art. From pole dancers and artificial intelligences to you party pops - everyone influences the Polynoiseon with their (sometimes outlandish) movements.
We are an art and culture project. It’s called second row ( ZWEITE REIHE). We are looking after places, event’s and people. Everything what isn’t obvious. Everything what is hidden and creative. Everything what can be discovered. ZWEITE REIHE is organizing the KIOSK. It’s a stage, platform and much more.
You are very welcome!
We are a music collective from Halle. We are a community of friends and party people, who started with raves in the nature. Now we also celebrate indoor partys.
We are playing various styles of music like Discohouse, Breakbeat, Acid-, Industrial- and Hypnotechno. That‘s how we support our local partszene since 2014.
For us it is important to be emancipatory and open. That‘s why we are creating party’s without any discrimination. Everybody is invited to celebrate solidaric, free and together with us. So let’s join a colourful world with great beats and hypnotic funky sounds.
End of 2019, a couple of friends, a plant, a bicycle cellar and a desire to have a good time with the Friends. Out of this came the collective UNTERDRUCK.
So much has not changed. The attempt to create a free space for creative people, the desire to help shape the subculture scene in Halle and many helping hands keep the project going until today. A familiar togetherness, where everyone is taken care of, has a considerable value with all the revelers. Over the years, a minimalist style emerges, as well as a preference for house-y sounds.
As Kollektiv Barrieren Sprengen (e. V.), we have been working together with TARMAC e. V. Since 2023 and develop customized solutions to remove barriers. Our approach goes beyond structural measures - we are also involved in administrative tasks, among other things, by creating disability-friendly awareness structures. Our aim is to actively promote the participation of people with disabilities in cultural life and to raise awareness to this issue in society.
Initiative Musik
I'm the Endlos. I’m growing because of the motivation and creativity of two brothers and their friends. How can I say it? I want to spread a colorful dancing culture in my hometown Halle (Saale).
I'm much more than just a dance floor. I'm a constantly reinventing microcosm. The stiff hands of a clock dissolve into a river that flows into the moment when time is no longer countable. The illusion of control is up to everyone.
Here everything that brings joy and enrichment is allowed without restricting the freedom of another. Tolerant behavior, dialog-oriented communication and respectful interaction with each other are fundamental requirements for me.

Departure is possible no later than Monday, September 8th, 2025, 2 p.m.

Admission is open at the following times:

If you want to travel by car, enter "Flugplatz Allstedt" as the destination in the navigation system or the coordinates 51.389001, 11.450220.
There is only one way to access the event site. Then follow the signs.
Alternatively, you can also travel by bike, public transport or organize your journey via the telegram group for carpooling. You can find more information in the respective areas.
We will once again be providing a shuttle bus between Sangerhausen and Allstedt this year. More information to follow.
Camping is possible in the designated areas. The costs for this are already included in the ticket price. The campsite is intended as a quiet zone. Large music systems and power generators are therefore best left at home. Of course, it is not forbidden to listen to music and/or make your own music in the camp (which we prefer). We rely on respectful interaction with each other.
There will be a food corner with various food stalls offering vegan and vegetarian, hot and cold dishes for little money. You can get chilled drinks at our bars. You can also bring your own drinks in normal quantities onto the festival site. Please bear in mind that we are dependent on the income from the bars to maintain our festival.
In other words: A few beers in the backpack: easygoing.
Dragging crates to the stages: No-go.
There are cold water showers in the open air on the main square. To use the showers, please only use biodegradable shower gels/soaps. The showers are not designed for extensive showering rituals, but only for quick refreshment/body hygiene with low water consumption.
You will receive a map to help you find your way around the site at the entrance to the festival grounds and at the info point on the main square.
Yes, free drinking water stations are available. You can also buy bottles of drinking water at a fair price at our bars. This ensures a basic water supply on the site. If possible, bring your own small supply of water.
We are located on a site surrounded by nature. The last few summers have been very dry and we expect that there will be an increased risk of forest fires at the beginning of September. Open fires or barbecues are therefore not permitted. Anyone who disregards this will endanger the lives of others and will be removed from the site.
At the Infopoint at friz on the main square, you can not only get all the information you need, but also find a small selection of useful items - such as a replacement for a forgotten toothbrush, tobacco, condoms, tampons and more.
Awareness on the Tarmac:
Awareness means being mindful and attentive to the common good.
We want a festival where everyone can feel comfortable and safe
and we celebrate together in mutual respect.
Therefore, dare to show your boundaries and respect the - verbally and non-verbally
non-verbally - communicated boundaries of your fellow human beings just as
as you would like them to. Because only YES means YES.
In the event that you would like help or support, one of your boundaries has been
boundaries have been crossed or you feel uncomfortable with a situation
there is an awareness team on site for you.
You will find us permanently in the awareness tent on the main square. We are marked with an A on the map.
There are also several mobile teams on the site at all times, which can be recognized by their purple high-visibility vests.
So feel free to contact us at any time - we will try to
together to find the best possible solution for you.
Your awareness crew
In close coordination with us, a security company has been commissioned to implement our security concept. The employees are informed about all the important facts that we have agreed with you and act accordingly.
Taking photos and videos is not permitted. Respect the privacy of others and enjoy the weekend without a smartphone. A team commissioned by us will take photos and videos for documentation purposes, taking your privacy into account. This team will be clearly marked for you.
In the event of a thunderstorm, please follow the instructions of security and the festival crew. Get yourself and others to safety. Keep your distance from trees or stage structures. Seek shelter in cars, these are the safest place on the campsite in the event of a thunderstorm. Pick up others and look out for each other.
The PsyCare team is looking forward to being there for you again this year. Our work aims to help you have a great time at the festival and feel safe, comfortable, and supported. In the hustle and bustle of the festival, we are your point of contact - should you experience a challenging situation, our trained team will provide you with the best possible advice and support.
We have the following services available for you:
The psychedelic ambulance: You can find this between the showers and the paramedic (ambulance). It is a safe, warm, and cozy place. A retreat for people who are experiencing a mentally (over)demanding situation. In a quiet and low-stimulus environment, you will be accompanied by experienced and empathetic people during this challenging situation. In addition, the PsyCare team will also take time for you if you need to talk about your experiences in the context of narcotics.
The Info-point: This is located between the awareness tent and the food stands on the main square. Here, we want to promote awareness when dealing with substances by handing out safer use materials (e.g., straws, cutting cards, etc.) and information material about common substances. We also have small snacks and tea available, all on a voluntary donation basis.
Our team of runners: PsyCare is on the move and can be found in pairs throughout the festival grounds. You can't miss us in our green vests with the PsyCare logo – just come and talk to us if you, your friends, or another visitor need help. This allows us to provide professional support as quickly as possible in the event of an emergency and accompany you to the psychedelic ambulance, for example.
Stay safe and have fun.
Your TARMAC PsyCare-Team
There will be a professional medical service with an ambulance on the festival site throughout the festival. To call for help, please contact the staff at the stages or go directly to the first-aid station.
At the infopoint you will not only receive all the information you need, but you will also find a small selection of items, such as a replacement for a forgotten toothbrush, tobacco, condoms, tampons etc..
Please be fair and hand in lost property at the Infopoint or one of the bars. If you have lost something, please contact the Infopoint during the festival. After the festival, Lost&Found can be contacted at lost@tarmac-festival.de. Please send us as detailed a description of the lost item as possible and be patient. Experience has shown that it takes some time for all lost property to be collected and viewed during the festival dismantling.
The airfield is located in an area with weak network coverage. Phone calls and mobile internet work poorly or not at all. However, text messages are generally not a problem. It is best to make important arrangements before your arrival or departure.
Nature reserve: Our festival site is surrounded by forest and nature reserves. Please do not stay off the paths and only dispose of your garbage in the bins provided by us.
The last few years have shown that a lot of deposit, glass and garbage is left behind on the campsite. To save our Trashhunter crew a bit of digging around in your garbage bags, you will be given two bags at the entrance. Please use one for returnable bottles or cans and the other bag for garbage of any kind. You will find designated stations for used glass throughout the square.
Parking lots are available. For the sake of the environment, please try to increase the capacity of the vehicles as much as possible an form car pools.
During the festival, we are the tenants of the airfield. We do not tolerate racism, sexism, anti-Semitism and other forms of discrimination. We reserve the right to exercise our domiciliary rights in such cases.
Take care of your valuables and take only the bare essentials with you. We cannot accept liability for lost or stolen items.
Every visitor must behave in such a way that any danger to other visitors or third parties is excluded. You are responsible for any damage you cause.
The festival is for adults only (P18). Only official photo IDs are accepted as proof of age (no student IDs, medical cards, etc.).
Fireworks are strictly prohibited due to the risk of forest fires and injuries. Anyone who disregards this ban endangers the people of the festival community and the continued existence of the festival. Failure to comply will result in expulsion from the site.
Confetti stays at home! We want to leave the venue as we found it. None of us want to spend hours picking up confetti from the meadow, the equipment or the forest floor.
No. Anyone who “embellishes” borrowed technology & infrastructure or stages with tags or graffiti without prior agreement will be thrown out and must pay for the damage caused. We have to clean these things afterwards at great expense and, in the worst case, pay for them in full.
There will be plenty of opportunities to give free rein to your creativity. We therefore have no sympathy for people who have to leave their tags on every corner.
No. A festival is not a place for pets. So just leave your favorite four-legged friends at home.
It's simple: We are celebrating together with many very diverse people. In doing so, we treat each other with respect, friendliness, and openness.
Racism, antisemitism, sexism, queer- and transphobia, or any other form of discrimination have no place at the Tarmac Festival.
Solidarity and Handling Conflict Situations
Our solidarity is with all people who are victims of violence, war, terrorism, and displacement. This includes especially those who are oppressed, threatened, or marginalized and cannot live in safety, freedom, and dignity. We do not tolerate messages that legitimize these conditions.
As organizers, we are faced with the task of organizing a festival that is as safe as possible for everyone involved. Safety also means committing to the peaceful coexistence of opposing viewpoints, as long as they do not contradict our principles of togetherness.
This also includes refraining from using symbols or messages that could be perceived as provocative towards people or groups. National flags are generally prohibited on our grounds. We understand that not everything that might initially be seen as a provocation is necessarily intended as such. In these cases, please be understanding and tolerant with each other.
Regardless of the context, our approach to conflict situations is based on the principle that we do not tolerate verbal or physical violence. Everyone at the Tarmac Festival is responsible for behaving non-violently. By doing so, we can all contribute to making Tarmac a great rave for everyone.
Please wear something. Out of solidarity with those who experience sexualization when they go topless, we ask everyone to always wear a top. A classic shirt, crop top, bra, or hot mesh outfit counts as a top. No top, however, means NO top.
Accessibility at the TARMAC-Festival
The TARMAC team and “Kollektiv Barrieren Sprengen - KBS” have set up the “accessibility Working Group” (“Teilhabe AG”). Together, we remove as many barriers as possible at the TARMAC Festival.
You will find levelled paths across the festival site and sanitary facilities that can be used independently by people with limited mobility when walking or standing. Part of the camping area ( Teilhabe Camp) has power supply so you can charge your devices and mobility aids there. There is also a fridge for medication. On request, we can provide camp beds, ear protection and polarised sunglasses. If you need other or additional equipment, please let us know. We will then see whether we can find a solution together.
This year we are once again implementing a lighting concept. For example, both in the timetable and on the festival site itself, we will show when and where bright, flickering lights will be used on the floors. We also make sure that at any time of day or night there are several floors where the lighting is softer, slower and less bright. More information will follow on-site in the booklet.
If you have any questions about our inclusion offer, feel free to send us an email at: teilhabe@tarmac-festival.de
We look forward to hearing from you!
If you click here, you will be forwarded directly to our email address and can register for an accessibility ticket.
Just send us an email with your name. You are also welcome to already tell us
If you have any questions or wishes, you can also share them in this email.
After your registration we will send you an email. This email is not automated, so please be patient with us ;) In this email you will find a code and a link. When you use the link, you will be taken to a website where you can enter the code. Afterwards you pay and receive your ticket as a PDF by email.
If you prefer to talk on the phone, simply send us a short email with your contact details and your preferred times. We will then call you back.
Yes, there will be day tickets this year. With them we want to make it easier for people to visit the festival who cannot or do not want to stay for the whole weekend – for example residential groups or other groups who only want to come for one day.
You can buy a separate day ticket for each festival day. The entrance is staffed on all days.
A day ticket costs 30 € plus a ticket fee (expected to be 5 €). People with an inclusion ticket can bring one companion free of charge.
The process for day tickets is the same as for inclusion tickets for the whole festival: you send us an email, receive a code and a link and can then book your day ticket online. If you need support with the booking, you can write to us: teilhabe@tarmac-festival.de. And if needed you can also ask for a call back
Personal assistants and assistance dogs
You can bring your personal assistants free of charge. Please send us the names and email addresses of your assistant by email. They will receive an email at the beginning of August with their ticket as a PDF.
You can also bring your assistance dog. Please write to us in advance as well. Our email address is: teilhabe@tarmac-festival.de
Assistence by Johanniter Academy
Not everyone who needs support has their own assistant. To still enable more people to come to the festival, we have started a cooperation this year with the Johanniter Academy in Leipzig.
Students in training and already qualified professionals from the Johanniter Academy can support people at the festival as assistants – for example with arrival, moving around the site or dealing with the festival situation.
You want to come, but do not have an assistant? In this case, please contact us early at teilhabe@tarmac-festival.de. We will then see together whether we can find a suitable assistant through the Johanniter Academy.
If the timing works out, we will organise a get-to-know meeting before the festival (online or in person), so that you can meet in a relaxed way and see whether it feels right for both of you.
The Accessibilty Camp is located on a grass strip in the middle of the regular campsite. The path from the paved main road to the Accessibility Camp is covered with heavy-duty mats. It is also possible to drive a car onto the grass strip and park it next to your tent for the duration of the festival. For this you need a “Camper Ticket”. You can find more information about this under “Arrival”.
In the Accessibility Camp you will find weather-protected electricity and a fridge for medication. There will be a wheelchair-accessible toilet closeby. You can find detailed information about the accessible sanitary facilities at the TARMAC Festival under “Accessible sanitary facilities”.
Because we want to keep the routes to the floors as short as possible, the Accessibility Camp is located relatively close to the festival site. Still, the area is somewhat sheltered from the noise of the festival. If you need a particularly quiet sleeping area, you can also use the festival’s regular quiet camping area. This does not belong to the Inclusion Camp and is located a bit further away.
Do I have to camp in the Accessibility Camp?
Of course not – but you can if you like! The Accessibility Camp is not located separately from the rest of the campsite, but right in the middle of it. There is enough space for your friends and assistants as well. The only difference compared to the rest of the campsite is that there is weather-protected electricity and a fridge for medication nearby. In addition, the ground is relatively even and it is not far from the festival site.
Absolutely. In the area of the Accessibility Camp we provide a weather-protected power supply during the festival. There is also a fridge where you can store medication or similar items.
Accessible sanitary facilities
There will be several wheelchair-accessible toilets at different locations across the festival site. At least two of these toilets will be heated containers with a flush toilet. The other toilets will be wheelchair-accessible portable cabins.
In addition, there will be at least one wheelchair-accessible shower with a shower seat, hot water and heating.
All wheelchair-accessible toilets and showers will have good lighting and disinfectant available. Most likely, the accessible sanitary facilities can be opened with “Euroschlüssel”. If you need one you can get it at the entrance.
If you want to arrive by car, you can get a free “Camper Ticket” from us. With this additional ticket you are allowed to bring your car onto the campsite and park it directly next to your tent. If you would like to have a Camper Ticket, please send us an email at: teilhabe@tarmac-festival.de
If you do not want to bring your car onto the campsite, you can park it free of charge very close to the entrance. There will be several car parking spaces reserved for people with inclusion tickets.
How do I get there by train?
If you want to arrive by train, you need to travel to Sangerhausen station. All platforms at this station have step-free access, loudspeaker systems, a guidance system for blind and low-vision people and marked steps. You can always find up-to-date information about the accessibility of Sangerhausen station here:
https://www.bahnhof.de/sangerhausen/ausstattung-barrierefreiheit
From Sangerhausen station you can then take one of the regular festival shuttles. These are standard public buses with wheelchair spaces and ramps. You can also take these buses back to Sangerhausen station after the festival. More information about the shuttle and about arrival and departure can be found under “Arrival and departure”.
We are aware that our festival still has many barriers. For example, some areas of some floors are not, or only with difficulty, accessible with a wheelchair or walking aids. Not all floors have platforms to provide better visibility.
In addition, we are not yet able to make music accessible for deaf people or to install a guidance system for blind and low-vision people on the site. We also do not yet provide comprehensive information in Easy or Plain Language.
We will keep working to reduce these and other barriers as much as we can in the future. If you have comments or feedback, please send us an email at:

Hence the explicit notice:
We offer our tickets exclusively via our webshop provider TixforGigs. Offers on other ticketing sites are counterfeits! Fake tickets will be recognized by us at the latest at the entrance and will unfortunately mean that you will not be able to enter the festival. You can only resell your personalized tickets via the TixforGigs marketplace.
